Seattle Peoples Fund, formalized in 2002, works to improve and expand mutual understanding and respect within and between individuals and groups of the many diverse cultures in the Greater Seattle Area, particularly of those whose voices have traditionally not been heard.
We provide grants for projects that assist communities in expressing and invigorating their cultural traditions, arts and languages through community engagement and community building efforts. We prioritize supporting projects that are organized by and for the communities being served and where people come together and engage meaningfully with each other. We are particularly interested in supporting organizations and communities that experience challenges accessing traditional sources of funding.
We do not make grants for social services, individuals, scholarship funds, religious activities or fundraising drives.

Seattle Peoples Fund’s grant cycle is closed, and we are currently not accepting applications. The next cycle will open up in mid-2027. Please check back in late spring 2027 for updates.
