Seattle Peoples Fund was established in December 2001 to provide grants that assist communities in expressing and invigorating their cultural traditions, arts and languages, and in building relationships with wider mainstream audiences.

We welcome proposals from community-based organizations located within the Puget Sound region. Organizations that may not have access to traditional sources of funding are encouraged to apply. We are interested in projects focused on community-building, community engagement and community empowerment.

We do not make grants for social services, individuals, scholarship funds, sectarian religious activities or fundraising drives.
